The location was GREAT. The provided parking allowed for two cars. ALL necessities were inside the two-bedroom house, including a dishwasher and washing machine.
The arcade games were £1 per person, making them a bit expensive.

Okay stay, some minor issues

It was nice and relaxing and very quiet. The place we stayed in was way more than we expected, very spacious and very clean. We had everything we needed even down to a washing machine.
On Saturday evening the area suffered a short power outage, so the bar and facilities could not serve food or drinks. The till system did not work. I feel that there should be protocols in place to serve the guests in such circumstances. Not even a complimentary drink WAS offered as an apology.

The lodge provided a washing machine, a beneficial amenity. I found the location to be quiet, this improved my stay. Parking was available for two cars, a definite convenience.

Relaxing lodge stay

the lodge was spacious with a good hot tub. i found THE resort clean and restful. the facilities met expectations and i enjoyed how quiet it was at night. i appreciated the well-kept grounds and quiet atmosphere.
the absence of a blind in the bathroom felt a bit odd, offering little privacy from outside views. i hope they address this soon, as it did detract from the overall comfort. it is an easy fix to improve the experience.

the resort location was acceptable, about 20 minutes by foot to cheddar caves.
the chalet cleanliness was below standard. i noticed several areas needing maintenance. a screw on the corner of one of the double beds caused an injury. i consider this to be a safety hazard.

The bathroom was lovely.
The outdoor playground was great for kids, BUT i found the pool hours restrictive. There were too many activities and private lessons scheduled, limiting access during times I wanted to explore nearby attractions.
